The Trigon Project: What's this project all about?
About
The Trigon Project is an ongoing project to create a good Japanese version of SonicX Season 3 (hence the name Trigon Project. This is an ongoing effort headed up by sonic fans who were disappointed with the English dubs and the plethora of seasons which were edited out. As there is currently no official Japanese version available, this project endeavors to create one by utilizing the video and audio sources available. If you wish to inquire into the Trigon Project, please see our contact page.
Note: Season 3 is from the US episode divisions and is often refereed to as The Metarex Saga(episode 53+) or Season 2 elsewhere. In the US, we can't use the same measuring standard as everyone else and I guess we can't count the same, either

I thought we found a TLC, but as he did nothing since he became our TLC, I'll say it here again:
We are looking for someone to check our translations for errors, in short: a TLC. So if you know Japanese and are willing to help out, please contact me.

We're finally making some progress here. But that brings us to a new problem. That problem is, we have only recieved translations for episodes until episode 73. So once we reach that episode, we won't be able to continue without a new translator. So if anyone, who is either capable of speaking japanese, or being able to read Chinese, would like to help us out with the last 5 episode, it's much aprreciated. Just contact me if you're interested
One more thing: because the joint did not really work(the only thing GX_ST still did for 54 and 55 was attack FX for 2 or 3 lines), we decided to drop the FX, along with the joint with GX_ST, and continue on our own. However, GX_ST will keep sharing our episodes when we release them.
We all decided this already a few months ago, but I actually forgot to announce it. I'm sorry for that.

I have 2 things to announce:
1) I have finally uploaded all the raws for episodes 1-52. That means all RAW episodes of Sonic X have finally been uploaded.
2) I think the extra staff we needed has been found. 57 has been timed, and 55 and 56 will probably be TLC'd tomorrow.
I guess this means that we're finally getting back on track. I sure hope so. Just keep checking the progress page for updates.

I know it's been a while since I've updated, but we have been making some progress (check the progress page for info). No release yet, but we really need some help.
Right now, all episodes until episode 73 have been translated, 57+ but not timed yet. So for those episodes, we really need a timer. I have pre-timed scripts, but they contain some errors. They also have wrong translations. So what you need to do, is insert the translations from the text file into the pre-timed script. Then the timing errors from the script need to be fixed, so you don't have to time from scratch.
We also need a Translation Checker(TLC). 55 and 56 have been waiting or a TLC for months now. I ask this because I think there are still some errors in the translations, but my Japanese is far from good enough to see where they are.
If you are interested in helping us with timing or TLC, please contact me. With you help, we might actually release something. :P

I'm sorry for the long wait, but it's finally here. Sonic X Episode 54, English subbed, available on the downloads page. I will upload the dutch version later today, I won't announce it here. Oh, and I'm sorry for entering the wrong dat for the last few news messages, I fixed it.

I hadn't announced it yet, but we have been planning a joint project with Generation neXt fansubs for Sonic X subs. I didn't announce it because I wasn't sure if we were going through with this. Now that Episode 53 has been released I thought I should announce it here. Download link for episode 53 is available in the downloads section. This release is just in English, but we will do Dutch and Spanish subs, too. But for now, enjoy our first fansub release.

The tracker the main torrent hosted was on, has been taken down by the CRIA. Therefor, the main torrent won't work anymore. But there is an alternative. If you register at www.soniconthenet.org you can download a torrent there, which is hosted on an independant tracker. It's not as well seeded as the main torrent, but I think it'll do.

I know, it's been a very long time since I've updated, but that's because there is nothing to update. Well, in the last update I said that I was gonna try to make a sub of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX. I decided not to do it, since the GX subbing team (http://www.freepowerboards.com/gxsubteam/) is doing those now. About the joint with another group, it's called off too, because they suddenly vanished and didn't contact me OR respond to any of my messages. So unless we find a Japanese-->English translator, we won't release any subs at all. And last but not least, a user at soniconthenet.org is using Solly's French-->English translations and is re-timing them so they'll be synced with our raws. So ifyou can't wait for real fansubs you can still watch those. Anyway, I probably won't be updating again for a while, because unless we find a translator, there is nothing to update about.

Let me tell you a little story. First, we found a translator, and a few days later, she left again. The End. No seriously, there's a big chance that we're gonna do a joint with another fansubbing group. You're gonna hear more of this soon. Also we're planning to subYu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters GX but probably some time after we've finished Sonic.

Finally, the last one. Episode 64: Sonic VS Shadow RAW is out. This time there was a little error in the audio. I fixed that. A complete torrent with Episode 53-78 is now up. Direct Downloads are gone forever, so if you want only a few episodes of the torrent, just download a client like Azureus(http://azureus.sourceforge.net), you can select only the episodes you want with that client. Now to enjoy the Final episode!.

You may be wondering about what's happened to episode 64. As you can see on the Progress page, I haven't got the audio for this episode yet, and it would be a waste of time to wait until I get it. So that's why I continued to the next episode. I DO have the audio and video for the rest of the episodes though.
Episode 67 note: Once again, an error on the dvd, so I had to fix it with a TV rip. To make things worse, the TV rip had a Jetix ad at the same place as where the DVD had the error. So I had to decide which is worse, the Jetix ad or the error.
I figured that it would be for the best to replace the error with the TV rip. But while the duration of the TV rip part is a little more than 10 seconds, you'll see the ad for only 2 seconds.
Now for some better news: I didn't detect anymore errors in the remaining episodes. Now to enjoy these releases!

I figured that I did something wrong with compressing the audio. Episode 53 v2 RAW is released. It's the same as v1, except that the audio is better compressed so the filesize is 100 mb smaller.

Today is a day to celebrate. I finally got my dvd's. the only bad thing is that episode 57 is not on them. So that's gonna be a TV rip. anyway, expect the first episode(53) within a few weeks(maybe days, who knows)

Well, finally some good news. According to the store where we bought the DVD's, www.discountmanga.com , the dvd's should have been released yesterday. So they're probably being shipped to my house atm. I'll tell here when they have arrived.

I've got bad news about the DVD's. Every time they keep getting delayed on the last day. So, when it finally was November 13th, ,DVD's were delayed to the 16th, and when it finally was the 16th, DVD's were delayed to the 21st. And so on. I hope they'll be sent soon.

We have pre-ordered the French DVDs and expect them to ship within the week. Upon arrival, we can really get to work! Also, the Trigon project website is now (more-or-less) operational
